My Story

My interest in the health and wellness industry developed over 20 years ago.  I was motivated over 30 years ago to seek more understanding and find solutions to resolving ailments and disease.  My auntie was diagnosed with cancer and when I saw how much she was struggling throughout her on and off treatments, I felt like I needed to help her ease  the aches, pains, and weaknesses she experienced. She was always there for me and I wanted to make her feel better. After her passing I knew I wanted to help improve the well -being of those who needed it.  I began with my own health journey and became conscious about my own health.  I always thought that being healthy was just about eating well and exercising, but realized it was more.

I began learning more ways to be the best I can be and in turn help others be the best they can be. Educating myself in Physio Therapy, Massage Therapy, Healthy Eating, Meditation, Mindfulness, Yoga, and Physical Fitness has led me to become a Health Coach.

My goal is to motivate you and inspire you to own your own health, to be proactive and create balance of your overall health and wellness.

My Approach

My mission is to help educate each client so they can maximize the benefit of having consistent treatments. Through a variety of alternative treatments and unique approaches, I partner with each client to unlock the potential of self-healing, often resulting in improvements from the very first session. Trust my hands, trust your ability to heal and allow yourself to feel better than you ever imagined possible. How I can improve your overall health and well being?

 

Everyone is a bio individual. I will listen to you and your unique needs and goals, create a sustainable treatment plan, educate, motivate and empower you to become the best version of yourself. There is a lot of information out there and it can become overwhelming.  How do you know what is good for you or if it will work for you? With my education, training, knowledge and experience, supplemented with your individualized custom program, I promise to give you the results you're looking for to be a better, healthier and stronger you.

At the heart of Hawaiian healing and understanding of health, lies the concept of Lokahi, which encompasses balance, harmony and connection. It is often referred to as the "Lokahi Triangle." The three areas of health and healing are; mental, physical and spiritual well-being.  True health and wellness is attained when these three dimensions are in equilibrium not only within ourselves but also within our communities.  Being raised not only in Canada but Hawaii as well, I feel a sense of connectedness with the Lokahi beliefs.

In this tradition, physical healing cannot be achieved without addressing issues within the mental and spiritual realms. Taking responsibility for our health and our own balance means acknowledging the impact of our actions, thoughts, and beliefs on ourselves and the environment around us. This includes our relationships with our family members, ancestors, friends and colleagues. As well as our mental and emotional states. Lokahi, therefore, also encompasses living in harmony with the world.
